What's a day like interning for The Mayfair Group in Scottsdale, Arizona?
We asked Sophie Cornwell, a Junior in our chapter, what it was like as she interned for the Instagram giant this summer. "Usually I start by creating content and captions for the many different brands our company represents," Sophie said about how a typical day starts for her.
The Mayfair Group is a powerful presence on Instagram with over 150,000 followers, and the company is growing in status in the fashion and modeling industries while specializing as "an all inclusive brand representation company... offering services of sales, international distribution, social media, social strategy, branding, public relations, and creative content". Founded in 2017, the company has shown exponential growth, making it a perfect place for a Communications and eSociety double major like Sophie, to receive wonderful experience "engaging with customers via social media and pitching new ideas for brands The Mayfair Group wants to promote".
Beyond these real-world experiences and exposure, Sophie enjoys interning for The Mayfair Group solely for its work environment. "I love the freedom and opportunities I have to create and express myself in different ways while learning and growing at the same time", Sophie said. As a part of BMG Models Chicago, Sophie is also able to help create content through photoshoots as well as promoting the company through her Instagram and various other forms of Social Media.
